The bottle was designed to project the image of tradition blending with innovation and style. The pistols pay homage to Mexico’s Revolucion, 200 years on, whereas the bottle shape, styling and balance, respond to the demands and sensibilities of today’s sophisticated and discerning tequila connoisseur. A high quality product must be served with class without sacrificing function.
Until now, it has been customary to leave only bottles of wine or champagne at the table, where other types of drinks have always been served by the glass, at the whim of your server or host. Tequila REVOLUCION has engraved markers into the glass bottle so that consumption can be measured. Each line measures 1 ½ fluid ounces, a traditional tequila shot serving of tequila. This allows the server to take a bottle to the table, simply pointing out the starting level, where consumers can serve themselves and their guests throughout the evening. This element brings back a sense of conviviality that tequila has traditionally represented. The etchings also allow mixologists to measure perfect cocktails direct from the bottle.
The bottle cap is the only element that stands between admiring the bottle and appreciating its contents. The heavy, substantial cap was created to provoke inertia with a flick of the thumb. With one hand you can send the cap spinning freely without falling off, where it will remain until ready to pour. The neck of the bottle has been specially designed to allow for precision pouring, preventing the last drop of each pour from dripping down the bottle. All this has been conceived with the sophisticated consumer in mind, who will personally make use of the bottle.
